Drawing definitely NOT to scale
I bought this for our 11 year old dog who has just had surgery. It is designed to keep him safe and confined whilst he recovers. Unfortunately, the "step" over the cage is not 2 or 3 inches a portrayed in the picture, it is more like 9 inches. He can't manage this at present and we aren't allowed to lift him so we have to open one of the panels to let him out for the "toilet". This is a bit of a drag and my mum, who often dog sits can't do it. I would have sent it back but need to confine our dog right now.
The product itself is reasonable though "heavy duty" is pushing it a bit. The pen arived 24 hours after ordering - which is good - the packaging was not so good. There were no instructions although the pen was pretty easy to erect...except for the fact that I did it inside out at first so you couldn't open the door from the outside.
So, it's OK. A more accurate illustration would have meant we wouldn't have bought it so if you need it for a convalescent dog,...
Pet pen, good for all animals.
Good size pen and it is easy to put together. All the panels are separate so you can make the pen as big or as small as you like. I've also found it quite easy to manipulate the shape of the pen, meaning that you can fit it anywhere. Its been very handy for letting my guinea pigs have a run, and is great for rabbits too.
Dog Pen
Does exacltly what it says on the tin - perfect for our rabiit in the Garden.
OK to be left out in the rain and does not leave a mark on the grass.
Would definately recommend.
