Disappointed.
I was very disappointed with this hutch. It is very small. The upper hutch has very little floorspace. It could do with being a bit bigger. Also, the run is tiny, not allowing a rabbit much room to excercise. The way that the run attaches to the main hutch is flimsy. The top section of the run does allow good access to the lower area, but the wire mesh is very flimsy and is easily separated from the frame. Cleaning of the upper area is quick. Partly because the roof opens to allow access but mostly because it is so small! Had I seen this hutch in a shop I would not have bought it for a rabbit. It is more suited for a guinea pig.
very happy guinea pigs
Purchased this hutch for our 3 guinea pigs who are about 3 years old. Delivery prompt & hutch easily put together. Seems well made & looks really smart. Bedroom area plenty big enough for 3 & run good size so don't need to move hutch every day. Took a few days to coax them down the ramp as didn't have one in previous hutch. Now seem to enjoy running up & down it. Only negative is that sides are a bit high so it's difficult for the children to reach in to catch the guinea pigs. Overall very pleased with our purchase.
Quality
Recieved the item as described unfortunately the part build quality was poor. There was a number of cracked panels due to incorrect placing of screws during part assembly, there were also split frames which I had to glue to get the hutch together. If I hadn't been desperate to house our new rabbit it would have been returned for refund.
