this hamster cage was tricky to put together but once i mastered it, it looked amazing. There is a lot of space in it for the hamster to run around which is great. Iv only had my hamster a day so i havenet had to take it apart to clean so i cant comment on that yet. my hamster loves sleeping in the tubes he looks sooo cute! the cage is sturdy and in pretty colours, i have the pink and blue cage. The exercise wheels in the cage are really good and my hamster loves them. i like them to as they are not noisy like some iv read reveiws on. over all i think that this cage is brilliant if you have a syrian hamster like he as there is so much space for them to play in and hide in.

Overall this is a good cage with plenty of space, however this cage is quite tricky to put together and too big at the beginning for a baby hamster, I added the third tier when he was about 4 months old, I find when you have to clean the hamster out you have to take the cage apart, which can be annoying. Also as the hamster grows the wheels are not big enough for him to use, the only other downside to this cage is that the doors are not very secure, the hamster can easily push them open, might be an idea to put padlocks on which I have done on my daughters as the hamster found how to open them. A good cage with plenty of things to amuse your furry friend.
Hamster Heaven
Good value for money. My hamster loves it, we have only put 2 levels on because we are wating till he gets a bit bigger. It is hard for a child to put the side clips on so my mum had to do it. It is quite hard to build. The water bottle is good but will have to be replaced when he is older as quite low. Food bowl is good too. Might not be suitable for dwarf hamsters or any other small breeds, the doors aren't very secure so have bulldog clips on them (just incase he try's to escape) We haven't used the house but plenty room inside for another house, a cardboard tube and a wooden climber.

Trixie natura outdoor run for young animals with net, 6 elements of 58 × 38 cm

Small animal Run
I purchased this run back in the summer after borrowing one for few months, I find this an exellent size for my guineapigs, You can use in hexogon shape or rectangle. Has very narrow gaps so tiny baby pigs did not escape. Also as its not too high its easy to step over and you are able to lift them out with ease. There is a door to use but you dont need it. Also as a bonus comes with free net/sunshade.
Natura Outdoor run
I purchased this run for mums & pups to get grass & fresh air. I was surprised at how big it actually is. The net / shade that comes with it provides both safety & shade (although I would provide extra shelter such as a Chube, Pigloo etc). It's fantastic value for money & I shall be purchasing another as my brood increases.
Just what i was looking for!
When i was young, i kept Guinea Pigs in outdoor wooden hutches and it was never too long before the wood rotted, or a family of earwigs would make their home in the doors. It was disgusting. Since having my new Guinea pigs, i keep them inside, and i wanted a run that could go in the garden without being a big, intrusive, rotting wooden thing that attracts slugs and earwigs. This is perfect for them!

The bars are narrow and my small Guineas can't escape. Its a great amount of space for them to have a run around. I leave it up overnight, and it is sturdy and stays standing.

The only problem i've had with it is that i can't quite attach the net roof properly. It doesn't seem to stretch over the whole top of the run properly, i have tried adjusted the strings on it, but even so, there is a section of the run uncovered.

Brilliant product. Its nice to know i can take it down whenever i need to, without it having ruined a patch of garden!

Not as good as i hoped it would be...
I got this for my new rabbit it was extremely hard to fit together there were no instructions and the delivery wait was really bad,Also a part of the cage wasn't welded properly and was broken which made it more difficult to fit together. It is nice and big but it could be better.

This was not designed by someone who knows rabbits. House too small, bottle crap. 5 weeks later and I have had 2 screw the ladder in and the rabbit is stil scared to use it. Nightmare to put together and clean out.

HAMSTER CAGE MADISON STUDIO APARTMENT MOUSE MICE

A Disappointment and a Waste of Money
I bought this cage for my syrian hamster. The pull-out tray cleaning system doesn't work, unless you use only a couple of millimeters of shavings - not enough to absorb excrement. The water bottle is also dodgy and took two days to work properly, during which time I had to provide a dish of water, which the hamster frequently knocked over. There is very little room for any toys other than the wheel, as the feeding dish is so massive. The wheel also scoots back and forth across the wall because the bars are horizontal and there is nothing to hold it in place. Also the wheel has rungs rather than plastic, which would be rather sore on running feet. It also comes with a bit to fit in the bottom that is also made of metal bars, presumably to make cleaning even easier, but I find this rather mean as the hamster has no opportunity for a warm, soft feeling under their feet - and it reminds me of battery hen cages.

Lastly it's extremely difficult to assemble and disassemble...
Hamster Cage
I hate this product it is extremly difficult to put together, and the wire on the side stretched. I think that i am going to get another cage for my syrian hamster Lulu, do not get this product as it will be too small for a syrian hamster, maybe ok for a dwarf hamster though.

I bought this cage knowing it was cheap, and got the quality I expected. I have mice, and this cage has narrow bar spacing which is good. I bought it because my normal cage wont flat pack, and I'm also going to use it as an extension when I get the parts I need

The floor grid needs to be removed, it has no benefit to you or whatever animal you keep in there, but I'm planning on using it in a bin cage
Wouldnt say it's suitable for dwarf hamsters unless you're comfortable doing some meshing around the corners

The wheel mine came with was solid, but too small for hamsters

I have bought and just assembled the 3 storey version of this hamster home, it was rather fiddly and felt quite fragile till the very last clip was fitted, then it seemed very robust, took about 15 minutes, then I spent a couple of hours trying to finish fitting the tubes properly, it was very hard to assemble the ring fittings but finally got there with no damage. Once assembled I would not recommend taking it apart again. Have to clean it through the doors, quite easy as there is one for each level.
I am using it in conjunction with a standard wire cage and maybe also a bin, as I dont think any of these small cages are big enough for hamsters, the wheels supplied, 2 with the 3 level version, are certainly far too small for a Syrian. Be GREAT for MICE or VERY DWARF HAMSTERS though.
I have a large Rolly wheel and it wont fit in there, it has to go in my adjacent wire cage.

Just not good enough
When i saw this item it looked ideal for our Hamsters needs, plus my daughter liked the bright colours and thought the design looked fun. All that is true, but it was a nightmare to put together, the instruction (what there were) are very poor and you get the feeling it will break very easily when putting it together. We had it for about six weeks when one of the side panels cracked during cleaning and we were very gentle with it. Then a bit later the clip that holds the top flap broke, again with very little pressure applied.

I wouldn't buy this product again or recommend it to others, it looks good, but is made from weak plastic that breaks far to easily, thus making it unfit for it's purpose.

This cage is absolutely brilliant. it is the size that i expeccted and is perfect for a syrian hamster, dwarf hamster and a gerbil. it is quite hard to put together but you will get the hang of it and it sounds flimsy when you are putting it together but it really isn't and it will not break at all and is so stable. my hamster loves exploring on both levels and loves his wheel... the wheel is very stable but is a bit noisy. all that i can say is that it is a great design, stable, perfect size and perfect for any small sized hamster!! would recommend it to everyone!!

Fab item but not the ladder
This item is a fab item for its price however the ladder isn't safe I had to buy hinges for the ladder to make it safe as HOOKS DON'T WORK the rabbits feet can get stuck and vet bills come up.
I think for this to be a 5 star it will need to change the ladder
Other than that its ok
The tray is glued on some wood at the front but I've tested it and seems ok not ideal for giant rabbits as they are heavy but most of all it's grate for rabbits were it has its young with them or if u breed rabbits it's good to place the females in there
It's easy to put up there's no damage and

Habitrail OVO Suite Hamster Habitat

Excellent hamster cage!
We've had this cage for our hamster ever since we got the little guy. He loves it! He uses the top bit as the bed and the bottom green bit as his toilet, if you put hamster litter in the green bit then your hamster will become litter trained and not pee anywhere else in the cage, which is handy for keeping the cage fresh.

This cage is very easy to clean and put together, you can also expand it to make even more space for your hammy! We added the Habitrail Playground cage to ours, so our little hamster can climb the bars, which he enjoys.

In terms of hamsters escaping, ours has only ever escaped twice in 8 months, and that was because we accidentally left the cage open at the back opening! I don't see how a hamster can escape from this cage as long as you make sure that all the openings are securely closed.
BRILLIANT !
I brought this cage at first because i liked the look of it. After purchasing this product I started to read the reviews, and was worried I had just wasted money. I could never have been more wrong, this cage is amazing.

My syrian hamster used to gnaw her water bottle, and in the end gnawed a giant hole in her ferplast cage (which was a waste of money). But since she has been in her new habitrail ovo, she hasnt attempted to gnaw anything except the cardboard maze, also the design makes it impossible for her to gnaw the cage. This has made her more tame and a lovely little hamster.

The design is genius, and all the extras are just amazing. The lock connectors are brilliant. I've read a lot of reviews about escaping hamsters, and how the cage is not escape proof. Ignore those comments, my hamster truely was the ultimate escape artist until now. The reviews about gravity and cage not staying up are also extremely false. Reading these reviews and not...
The best hamster cage I've seen!
I have had 3 hamsters, this cage is versatile and grows with the hamsters. I had my first hamster at 13 and was obsessed with buying all the add ons, tubes, and card board inserts. In my opinion it is easy to clean and safe for my baby dwarf hamsters. It is easy to take apart and lets my creativeness run wild like my hamsters. I have recommended it to so many friends and every one I know has been happy with it. :)

Savic Bristol Hamster Cage

we threw our rotastak in the bin and got this fab cage. Is a really good size, looks great in my daughter's bedroom, and nibbles seems really happy too!
My syrian loves it!
Bought this cage after looking round for ages for one for my new syrian. Wanted a cage that was a decent size but not overly priced...and looked good! This one was the one I settled on. It is quite large compared to a lot of cages that are sold claiming to be big enough for hamsters (which clearly aren't, such as the rotastak ones).

It's easy to put together, the second level sits on the base, then add the food bowl, water-bottle, hut, ramp and the wheel, then pop the wire top on. I changed the wheel and bought a flying saucer wheel as the one provided is too small for syrians once they are older than a few weeks. The clips that hold the top on are a little stiff but I think that just gives more security that they aren't about to unclip accidentally. I also bought some wooden toys that hang from the top, and put tubes on the base so he can run around in them aswell.

It's easy to clean, as it's all plastic it can be washed and then dryed off with no hassle...
Two storey home
Bought this for our school hamster. He needs the space but a big cage would be too big to carry so I opted for one which gave him two levels. It's not perfect for a Syrian hamster. They really do need a Lot of space, but it's not bad. He is certainly happier. My only criticism would be the door. It's fab, cos its twice the size as usual giving you plenty of room to retrieve him from the cage. The trouble is, it opens upwards and because of the curvature of the top of the cage, can fall shut again VERY easily! This could trap your hand or even worse fall on the hamster as you remove him from th cage, so be warned.

Ferplast Casita 100 Rabbit Guinea Pig Rabbit Cage

Practical and good looking
I purchased this cage for my daugther's two baby guinea pigs, it's a good size and it's great that it came with a number of accessories like a hay rack, water bottle, feeding bowl and a plastic house for them to hide in. It makes for a good starter kit and was easily assembled.

We have since removed the plastic house though as plastic tends to keep moisture in (which isn't good), and also because it sits underneath the care wiring which makes it tricky to take out. Better replacing this with a wooden shelter / house as this will also give them something to gnaw on.

Cool design very good cage with a few draw backs
i got this cage for my hamsters, because she is so small she cant reach the water bottle so ive swapped it for a normal water bottle, the water bottle can be tricky but you have to shake it three times to stop it from dripping, the thing with this cage you can arrange things how you want to and its so easy to access your hamster plus very easy to clean! the pet carrier at the top is just brilliant, i have had no problems with this cage!! my hamster hasnt had problems with any part of the cage and no problems with accessing tubes, food bowls, as mine is getting old she struggles to climb the tubes now, which the beauty of it you can remove them and block that access off which i love, she has a seperate slient wheel bed and food bowl in the main cage, off the side is a sand bed, the pet carrier is attached the the water bottle part.
Cage Design
I bought this cage from a pet store and it is the worst cage I have ever bought! The design is terrible the food bowl is hard to reach, the water bottle leaks everywhere! This made my hamster wet and unhappy. The ventilation in the bed is poor because it gets condensated and that makes the bed wet! Since putting my hamster in this cage he has lost lots of weight, lost his fur and his behaviour changed he didnt sleep in his bed anymore and he was awake continually. Since putting my hamster back into his old cage he has gone straight back to normal. I wouldnt recommend this cage to anyone.

brought this for our two dwarf hamsters its sturdy and they love it think its a great design compared to other cages weve purchased in the past water bottle a fab idea too

48" Single Rabbit / Guniea Hutch hutches run runs BB-48-SI

This item got delivered this morning, firstly when we took it out of the box one of the bits of wood was split, but as our rabbit is coming today we thought we would repair it, as don't have time to return it for a refund. Then on trying to put it together the tray is a nightmare to posistion and the divider doesn't fit properly. We are really dissapointed with this as was bought for our Grandaughter as a surprise. I wouldn't buy from here again!!
48" single rabbit / guinea pig hutch
I ordered this hutch on 30th june and received it by the following Tuesday. The hutch arrived well packaged and when it was opened all the parts were there. The hutch took about 25 mins to put together. The hutch is big enough for two guinea pigs, the locks on both doors are secure and the mesh on the front is strong, we also purchased a hutch cover to protect the hutch and guinea pigs from the rain and wind

Nearly perfect
I bought this product as it has the tray right along the top of the burying area. I had hoped that it would stop our Gerbils from spreading their bedding all over the room. In fairness it works pretty well from that point of view as long as you remove the extension tube which is supposed to be used for them to climb up onto the upper level. I found that they just stood on it and dug all the bedding up the tubing and we were back to square one. In fact that piece of tubing is totally unnecessary for the Gerbils as they can climb up without a problem. The only other thing which is a waste of time for them is the wheel as they chewed it to pieces is the wheel. It should have come with a silent spinner. Overall the bed did exactly what I wanted it to do and the area is better used by them than their old house was.
Great purchase, like a haven for my little hamster

Rabbit Run
This steel rabbit run has given our rabbit lots of extra space to enjoy the great outdoors. It was easy to set up and is extremely good value for money compared with other products that we have looked at at various garden centres and pet stores. It comes with a sun screen which is also waterproof so it protects from light rain as well as sunlight. It is fairly lightweight and easy to move around the garden. We particularly like the large doors on the top and two sides. It may be possible for a clever rabbit to escape from the smaller push up doors, as ours did!, but we have locked them now with cable ties, no harm done. Overall a great product.
Large run for our guinea pigs
Quick and easy to assemble, just 4 pins to slide into the corners. Our pigs love this and seem much happier and relaxed in here compared to the wooden A-frame run they had before, which they just used to hide in the dark corners!
rabbit enclosure
Seemed a good large run for price, but my rabbits learnt how to nudge up the small side doors! So had to put cable ties or keyrings around them to fasten closed!
Updated after a couple of months. I would not recommend this for rabbits - after a couple of months use with not much problem I returned to find a rabbit exhausted with its head stuck on the outside of the bars. The bars are 3.5 cm apart and are slightly flexible allowing my slender but fairly average cross breed rabbit to push it's head through. I cannot use it as it is and it is too late apparently to be returned.

Outdoor Tortoise Run with Protective Net - mesh width: 1 × 1 cm

Outside pet run
I brought this for my tortoise as it said "Outdoor tortoise run" but it really isn't suitable for tortoises. My tortoise just try's to escape from it and walks round it putting her head through the bars as she doesn't understand. I would however buy this for a rabbit maybe or guinea pig.

HAMSTER CAGE WESTMINSTER EXTRA LARGE PALACE

Not as good as it could be!!
Having recently purchased the "Beckingham" cage from Posh Pets I thought I would share my thoughts;

Most importantly be aware that the cage now comes with WIRE PLATFORMS and not the plastic ones shown in the photos. It's in the product description but I missed it, as I had been researching for a while from different sites. (It's also available from ebay by same seller for the same price).

WIRE PLATFORMS aren't suitable for hamsters.
A quick google will back this statement up.

I modified mine by machining up four new shelves from clear plastic sheet and fitting over the original WIRE PLATFORMS. Problem solved. Luckily I have access to a decent machine shop. If you don't want to modify the cage and care about your pets wellbeing then look for a different cage.

Some of the accessories are very poor quality; particularly the little house and wheel. I plan to replace mine as soon as I can. The wheel is too small for an adult Syrian anyway as...
Great cage however
Excellent cage Olly loves playing in it. However no instructions how to build plus didnt come with food bowl like it stated when purchasing. And one of doors on cage is rather loose so i have to cable tie it so he does escape

the ball at the top is slack had to cellotape so hamster couldnt run NO INSTRUCTIONS and shows you blue in the picture it came red shows you 2 levels it had 3 tubes are okay but not good when the hamster hardly uses them and i bought this cage to stop him chewin the bars he still does it so really no point i have the house as well which is okay would not recomenmd this cage !!!
Hamster cage with wheel
I bought this cage as I liked the idea of the hamster having its own ball to run in. The ball was very stiff and I had to put some vaseline around the plastic joints. Our hamster loved it until the cat sneaked into the bedroom and jumped up and pulled the cage down and the ball cracked and I have been unable to purchase a spare ball to which
I am very disappointed. I did find that the tube from the top tray did fall out of the hole now and again.
