Please don't buy!
This gerbilarium is far too small for keeping gerbils happily in. I was given one and I would only ever use it for cleaning out as it's tiny and boring. The best gerbilarium is a large, old fish tank with a simple mesh lid made to fit the top.
NOT A SUITABLE HOME FOR A GERBIL!! (OR ANY OTHER RODENT)
I am aghast that anyone would try and keep a small animal in this 'gerbilarium'. A 2' tank is a MINIMUM and 4' is best for a gerbil. They need a good deal of space to nest, burrow, and explore, and this would only ever be suitable as a temporary solution whilst they were being cleaned out or perhaps with pet sitters. Please, please consider your pet's welfare and DO NOT PURCHASE THIS AS A MAIN HOME!!

The runners are too slidey for the gerbils they ended jumping up eventualy the runners connections broke. the gerbils did not take long to chew the gerbilarium to bits untill they could of got out, dont waste your money and spend a few extra pounds on a decent one . I dont like giving bad reveiws but when money is tight you dont want to be buying a new gerbil home after 6 months .
