Ferplast Casita 100 Rabbit Guinea Pig Rabbit Cage

Practical and good looking
I purchased this cage for my daugther's two baby guinea pigs, it's a good size and it's great that it came with a number of accessories like a hay rack, water bottle, feeding bowl and a plastic house for them to hide in. It makes for a good starter kit and was easily assembled.

We have since removed the plastic house though as plastic tends to keep moisture in (which isn't good), and also because it sits underneath the care wiring which makes it tricky to take out. Better replacing this with a wooden shelter / house as this will also give them something to gnaw on.

I've paid

Ferplast Pet Products Ferplast Topy

Nearly perfect
I bought this product as it has the tray right along the top of the burying area. I had hoped that it would stop our Gerbils from spreading their bedding all over the room. In fairness it works pretty well from that point of view as long as you remove the extension tube which is supposed to be used for them to climb up onto the upper level. I found that they just stood on it and dug all the bedding up the tubing and we were back to square one. In fact that piece of tubing is totally unnecessary for the Gerbils as they can climb up without a problem. The only other thing which is a waste of time for them is the wheel as they chewed it to pieces is the wheel. It should have come with a silent spinner. Overall the bed did exactly what I wanted it to do and the area is better used by them than their old house was.
Great purchase, like a haven for my little hamster
"My Hamster loves this cage, so much more room than the last Cage she had. Loves to burrow in the sawdust which can be placed as deep as you wish. Only issue is the noise the wheel makes and the bracket which holds the water bottle is very flimsy, I have had to put a piece of wire in to hold the bottle in place. "

Ferplast Pet Products Ferplast Hamster Gym Module 32.3x23x26.3cm

Very good
Having read earlier reviews, this seemed like a good and fairly inexpensive way of increasing the tank size and entertainment level for our dwarf hamster. I also bought the 8” straight space tunnel, however, I think the smaller tunnel length would have been better, especially if you are thinking of moving the tank around from say upstairs to downstairs on a regular basis. This is because the seals at either end are good for a static tank but are not good enough for moving as I found out. One shocked little hamster. Other than that, well recommended.

Ferplast Pet Products Cavie 80 Guinea Pig Cage Mixed Colours 79X49X43.5Cm

Awful
I got my cavie 80 from pets at home 2 weeks ago. I was led to believe that it was suitable for 2 piggies so I bought it without much thought. The same day I got my baby piggies from a breeder as I don't buy pets from chain stores. Anyhow as soon as I popped my baby boys into their new home I was horrified. Even though they are tiny, it still looked cramped. Never owning a guinea pig before, I didn't really know any better. So I ordered a new much bigger cage and so I feel quite angry that I was sold this being told it would be big enough. Whats even more sad is that there are some dense people around that probably wouldn't realize and little kids that wouldn't know any better. Then those poor animals homed in these awful cramped conditions and are destined for a sad little life. I think it's bordering on animal cruelty and should only be sold as a travel cage. I also have a run for my piggies that they have access too all of the time, but some piggies aren't so fortunate. I can't...
That product picture is disgusting!
This is the reason why this sized cage is NOT suitable for rabbits! Do not waste your money or abuse your pet by buying this.
TOo small for a rabbit
The minimum recommended size for a hutch/cage is 6' (180cm). In addition, a larger area is needed for daily execise. It is essential that your rabbit has the room to stretch in all directions. A rabbit cage/hutch that's too small can effect your rabbits health - causing spine problems, muscle wastage and obesity.

I have not found a cage big enough (only Ferplast Rabbit 160 Cage )so I recommend to buy the largest dog cage (or two) you can find! and make it 2 storey (its higher than rabbit cage) and let your bunny run around a lot...again if it can stay open 24/7 PERFECT :) Please research rabbits needs before you buy.
