Meadow Lodge The Manor Small Animal Hutch

Disappointed.
I was very disappointed with this hutch. It is very small. The upper hutch has very little floorspace. It could do with being a bit bigger. Also, the run is tiny, not allowing a rabbit much room to excercise. The way that the run attaches to the main hutch is flimsy. The top section of the run does allow good access to the lower area, but the wire mesh is very flimsy and is easily separated from the frame. Cleaning of the upper area is quick. Partly because the roof opens to allow access but mostly because it is so small! Had I seen this hutch in a shop I would not have bought it for a rabbit. It is more suited for a guinea pig.
very happy guinea pigs
Purchased this hutch for our 3 guinea pigs who are about 3 years old. Delivery prompt & hutch easily put together. Seems well made & looks really smart. Bedroom area plenty big enough for 3 & run good size so don't need to move hutch every day. Took a few days to coax them down the ramp as didn't have one in previous hutch. Now seem to enjoy running up & down it. Only negative is that sides are a bit high so it's difficult for the children to reach in to catch the guinea pigs. Overall very pleased with our purchase.
Quality
Recieved the item as described unfortunately the part build quality was poor. There was a number of cracked panels due to incorrect placing of screws during part assembly, there were also split frames which I had to glue to get the hutch together. If I hadn't been desperate to house our new rabbit it would have been returned for refund.

Meadow Lodge The Summerhouse Small Animal Run

Meadow Lodge Summerhouse Small Animal Run
We purchased this item for our pet guinea pig to be able to be left outside for a short time in the finer weather.

The item was ordered on the 12th of March and it arrived on the 15th of March delivered by City Link couriers. Quick delivery as i only ordered it on the normal super saver delivey.

The item arrived flat packed and it was easy to assemble together. We are very pleased with the product, it is made out of a really nice looking wood. The run is also a fair size for one guinea pig like ours, we are thinking of getting a companion for our little piggie and it is definitely suitable for two. The hutch part of the summerhouse is quite large. It is also nice that the floor part of the hutch is plastic coated so that it is easy to wipe clean.

There is also a mesh bottom if you prefer to attach it to the run if you mostly have rabbits and they tend to burrow, with the mesh bottom attached, then they would not be allowed to burrow out.

Excellent service ordered on the 14th at21.00 arrived 16th at 07.30.Very pleased with the run, ample room for my two guineas to play and exercise.Very good quality, well made and nice looking run and very easy to assemble,i would highly recommend this product.
Excellent Hutch - Prompt Delivery
Ordered this hutch for my duagthers 2 new guinea pigs - ordered at 5pm one day, arrived 9.30 next morning - impressive
Easy to assemble, with a fox proff botoom for the run meant we chose this model over others. Only slight problem is hole to the hutch part is large (for a robitt) and a bit big for the guinea pigs, but that was soon sorted with a small cut out to make the entrance more cosy.

My daughter is delighted with the hutch and guineas seem happy too!
