Tumblefresh Bedding Approx 8.5 Litres - Supreme 6 pack bale

Dont buy if you own Rats!
I purchased this product for a year for my 2 Rats, and it does a great job of keeping the cage fresh and clean.

However, it ISNT dust free anymore! it used to be very good a year ago when i first purchased it, but in the last few months its been getting dustier and dustier and even made me sneeze!

Because of this product, my Rats had problems with Mites in the bedding (from the packet), and one of my Rats is now very badly ill with a chest infection from the dust in the bedding, and can hardly breathe.

Ive written to Carefresh for help ,and to tell them to remove DUST FREE off their packaging, however Ive heard nothing back. They dont seem to care that they are killing one of my Rats.

Im going to use Megazorb from now on and see if thats better.

Stay clear of this if you have Rats, I wouldnt want you staying up for nights on end holding your Rat as she/he struggles to breathe and sleep

Sleepypod Medium Mobile Pet Bed, Dark Chocolate

Worth the money!
I didn't buy this on Amazon so I cannot comment on the delivery etc, as when I bought this it was quite unheard of (Almost limited to the US). I decided to buy this for my new kitten as we were moving abroad which meant a long car journey and no bed on the boat. At first I was put off by the high price tag, but now that I have used it I can honestly say it is worth the money. We travel around 6 times a year now for 5 hours a time by car, and my cat is perfectly happy the whole time. She only meows when she is closed in something and cannot see what's happening. With the sleepypod, I fold down the mesh and she has space to stick her head out.

There is a mini and a medium, I debated this with my partner for ages as the mini costs less and she was a tiny kitten, but if you are also thinking about which size is best, unless you have a VERY small animal who will not grow anymore I would choose the medium.

What I like about this most is the convenience; they have taken...

Petlife Oxbow Western Timothy Hay for Small Pet, 4.05 Kg

Sterilised Hay
Great to be able to get this delivered, in large more economical size as not able to source from Pet Shops in my area.

Had an adopted poorly Guinea die of mite infestation, clear skin etc., but they had got into her bloodstream, so only give my Guineas this type of hay now.

My guineas popcorn for joy every time they hear me go to the bag.
Piggies love it!
My guinea piggies love this! They don't really like any other hay now! It is great to keep their teeth nice and healthy!
Really Good Hay
I have tried different types of hay for my chins. But they are really picky with hay.

I tried some hay from zooplus, small package of Oxbow timothy, some from local store, vitacraft mixed hay, even American Pet Diner.

Their favorite is APD 2 cut, but it's too difficult to buy in Europe, so I ordered this Oxbow big package.

It turns out to be really good, they like it as much as APD. But because Oxbow contains more straw than APD 2 CUT they leave some behind, but they eat all the leaves.

I am quite happy with the quality =D

Ferplast Casita 120 Indoor Rabbit & Guinea Pig Cage

Great cage
Bought this cage for our 9 yr old daughter's new rabbit. A great cage, spacious and easy to clean. Front door slides across, so no caught paws when bunny jumps out! Top opens fully c/o two separate doors which can be opened individually if needed; enabling you to access the food, litter tray and of course your rabbit easily! I have put ours into a large run and leave the front door open at all times and our bunny loves it. highly recommend!
Too small for a rabbit
The minimum recommended size for a hutch/cage is 6' (180cm). In addition, a larger area is needed for daily execise. It is essential that your rabbit has the room to stretch in all directions. A rabbit cage/hutch that's too small can effect your rabbits health - causing spine problems, muscle wastage and obesity.

I have not found a cage big enough (only Ferplast Rabbit 160 Cage )so I recommend to buy the largest dog cage (or two) you can find! and make it 2 storey (its higher than rabbit cage) and let your bunny run around a lot...again if it can stay open 24/7 PERFECT :) Please research rabbits needs before you buy.
Great product!
This is a fantastic roomy cage which I'm sure our guinea pigs will love. Easy to put together. Only concern may be the slope to the top ramp - not sure if the piggies will get up - time will tell. Also ordered cage Monday night & it was delivered Thursday - I didn't pay extra for speedy delivery so really impressed with service.

20kg Bales Paper Pet Bedding for Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Horses and other smaller animals

Best substrate for small animals.
I've tried pretty much every substrate going (sawdust, megazorb, carefresh, aubiose, hemp bedding, and bio catolet) and fitch recycling bedding is the best one I've ever used for my animals.
It's odour free
Dust free
Soft
Absorbant
Great for animals to dig in
And it's in bigger pieces so easier to pick up when you spill it all over your floor!
It also works out very cheap and I will never use anything else.

I use this for hamsters, mice, rats and guinea pigs.
Good, but not perfect.
I purchased this for my guinea pigs after trying quite possibly every product on the market, but finding none dust free as advertised, nor as absorbant as needed.

I have personally found it not to be odour free. It has a chemical tang to it, although my piggies dont seem all that affected, my living room smells a bit like a labratory at times.

My main gripe is that its not all that cost affective when compared to products like shavings/hemcore/megazorb; especially for those of us with failry large enclosures that are cleaned out regularily.

Despite these issues i will continue to purchase it. My two recent rescues has seriously sore feet after being housed on pine shavings ( a huge no-no with guinea pigs ) and they have cleared up beautifully since being on Fitch.
Soft, safe bedding for the furry things
I like this product because a) it's a big bag holding huge amounts, b) it's a soft, kind, dust-free bedding, c) it's easy to scoop out of the bag & into the hutches/cages & doesn't leave a mess, & d) it lasts for ages!! It's kind on their little paws, & the gerbils love to burrow & make tunnels in it. The rabbits use one corner of their hutches for their toilet, & this product absorbs the urine well, & it is simple to re-fresh the corners each day. The hamsters make comfy-cozy dens with it. It's excellent value for money & I prefer it to any other kind of bedding. Nuff said!

Wooden House for Rabbits, 43 × 22 × 28 cm

Big and Sturdy
I bought this after my two chinchillas half-demolished their previous wooden house. Interestingly, the don't seem as inclined to destroy this one, but it could just be that it was placed into their house with other new toys (it's time may yet come!).

Very roomy, more than enough room for two chinchillas to fit inside. I don't own a rabbit, but from memory they're usually much bigger than a chinchilla so the size of the "door" might be a concern for anyone with a full-sized rabbit (or a particularly plump dwarf rabbit).

It does appear to be glued together in some places, and the label that comes attached warns to dispose of the house if there are signs of chewing.

So, there's nothing particularly bad about it, but it's not particularly good either. Bit on the pricey side, but does what I need it to.
