Not suitable for animals that can jump!
I recieved this item in excellent time, it was well packaged and well made. Unfortunately it was not suitable for my chinchillas because they simply jumped over it.. I have no doubt that most full sized rabbits could all but step over this pen and I would imagine that most degus or gerbils could hop over it too. I would say that this is an excellent item for an older pet and certainly ideal for guinea pigs, it folds away very nicely and I would certainly have kept it if it was taller! Have a good look at the dimensions to see if it fits your needs so that you can avoid having to pay to send it back if it is not suitable.

i bought these for my guinea pigs for inside the house and one for our syrian hamster.they are a good size ,well made,and once i put their toys in they are safely able to play for quite a long time.they can also be linked to make one extra large pen.worth the money!
