Mill House Hamster Cage

Alright For A Starter Cage
I bought this one from a pet shop as I was on a low budget and thought it was a bargain.
However over time it is just becoming a nuisance. The green level is impossible to clean as all of the poo gets stuck in a little groove. I have tried so many things to clean it but it is just getting worse.
The wheel has broken off and their is no way to reattach it, the plastic strip that keeps it in place is too brittle.
As I have mice they like to scratch at the side of the cage which is made from clear plastic so over time it is becoming harder to see in as it is all scratched.
The orange clips are hard to keep in place too, I just do without.
I am now looking for a new one because all of the problems are annoying me.
So in summary this is a fine cage if you are on a low budget and you want a starter cage, but over time problems will arise.
5 stars
Great cage, Bought for a young Chinese dwarf hamster who was living in a combi 1, she's only been in it for a few hours but seems pretty overwhelmed with the size haha

as with any cage it does have its flaws but the pros do out weigh them.
The clips on the side are stiff and the clips on the top had too much extra plastic so wouldn't open
I got around that by catching the bottom first and then clipping the top and cutting off the excess plastic with a sharp knife

The wheel is really flimsy made and broke as soon as I tried to attach it, It was also quite squeaky when I moved it about..
I have a flying saucer though so its not a big problem

Water bottle slides to the floor every time the cage is moved
I'm looking into getting a smaller suction cup water bottle for inside the cage

The cage is Massive, arrived within 30 hours of ordering it(est. delivery date was the 8th!), good wee house, platform, the water bottle is...
Great value
I bought three of these from the RSPCA wish list as they had a large amount of hamsters arriving. The cage price was ideal for this.
